I have my notifications turned on but when the doorbell is pressed it does not come across my phone or my television what am I doing wrong

For your phone, do you have "Push notifications" enabled in the Google Home app for your doorbell?  On the iPhone, we have to enable Notifications for the Google Home app; is there a similar setting for Android phones?

There is also a "Visitor announcements" option for the doorbell, which works for Nest Hubs, Nest Minis, and Nest speakers. I don't know if that can send doorbell announcements to a TV with a Chromecast device.

@Tim61, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, what app are you referring to? Have you tried reinstalling it? Try checking if the notification setting of that app is enabled on your phone. Let us know how it goes.
