I am trying to add my new Nest Doorbell to my connected devices. I did it once with success but when I took it outside it kept going offline. I moved right next to the router and same thing happened so I removed it from my Home and now I am trying to re-Add it. I go to the Home App -> Devices - Add and it prompts me through the process to the point it says to connect the doorbell to the USB device. At this point the doorbell freezes with ONLY a white light. No blinking blue like it is supposed to have. I tried everything, turned off phone, turned of and back on bluetooth but nothing works. I even factory reset the doorbell but it just will not work. All it does when I push the doorbell is to tell me the battery is fully charged. When I unplug the USB cord, it goes dead, no light, no response when I hit the doorbell button, NOTHING - I am ready to send this back and go get a different brand, maybe a Ring Doorbell is better.

Hello Mr-C7,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. You're right, it should have a pulsing blue light when setting it up, it means it's ready to connect. Try the steps below on how to properly reset it to the factory default.
To reset:
1. Locate the reset pinhole on the back of your Nest Doorbell.
Tip: The reset pin on your Nest Doorbell (battery) is located below the USB port on the back of the doorbell.
2. Insert and hold the pin (you can use an unfolded paperclip or a thumbtack):
3. Release the button. Your Nest Doorbell will restore to its factory settings.
4. After the factory reset, your Nest Doorbell will appear as “Offline” in the app until you remove it.
5. To remove it from the app, open the app, then tap Settings Remove device Confirm.
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Emerson
