Old Nest Cam camera - no live video

I have an old Nest Cam outdoor camera, it got pretty weathered so we replaced it but the light goes on, there is power, it pairs with the wifi but it won't show any video....we did re-tape where the red/black wiring was exposed, but maybe not the most perfect job.

I don't want to give up on it until I know it's really trash, what else would you suggest?

Hi Idevlieg,  I had one like that about 2 years ago with the same problem.  I ended up buying a used on from ebay and it has been working great.  I'm 99% sure Google will not repair it and I don't think anyone does.

Ah thanks!  I was thinking DIY which I won't give up on, but never thought of buying on eBay - I'll check it out!  Love the old cameras
