We have two cameras setup: A Nest Floodlight at the front of our house and a Nest Cam on our back deck. Both cameras are wired and plugged in. For some reason, our Nest Cam says "plugged in" with the infinity symbol under Settings/Battery but the Nest Floodlight says it is on battery and keeps giving a low battery notice. How is this possible when the Nest Floodlight is hard wired? It is causing issues with live video loading and videos being available after being recorded, completely defeating the purpose of us having a camera. If it was an issue with cold weather, etc. wouldn't it impact both cameras? I feel like this is a defect with the Nest Floodlight.

I've seen several posts regarding similar issues with the floodlight fixture. Since the camera in the floodlight fixture is actually the battery camera (which we've had since Sept. 2021, plugged in and online ever since), maybe there is a defect in the floodlight portion of the device.
You could try contacting Support:

2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Thanks I agree this is a defective product given that I can see 50+ people on these chats with the same issue. Unfortunately Support advised they will not send a replacement because we're out of our warranty period. Given that this is clearly a product issue, I think they should honour their quality promises and provide a replacement unit to fix the issue. That seems to be the only thing that has fixed the problem for other people experiencing the same behaviour. Very frustrating and making us think twice about purchasing any future Google products.
