Outdoor camera stopped continuously recording history

my outdoor camera is no longer displaying continuous history. It only shows events. I used to be able to scroll and see everything leading up to an event. Now the picture freezes until a vent happens. I do have the plus membership and it was working up until two weeks ago. how do I fix this?

Thanks for posting in the community. I'm sorry you're having trouble viewing the continuous video history from your outdoor Nest camera. I understand how frustrating that can be, and I'm here to help.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide the following information:

  • How strong is the Wi-Fi signal where your Nest camera is located?

  • Have you noticed any internet connectivity issues with other devices on your network, such as devices going offline or slow download speeds?

  • Is all of your video history missing, or are only specific timeframes affected?

  • Do you have a recording schedule set up for your camera? If so, was the camera scheduled to record during the missing history periods?

  • Did anything change in your home or with the camera approximately two weeks ago, when the issue began?

  • Are you able to view the camera's live feed currently?

  • Are you experiencing this issue with any other Nest cameras?

  • Approximately how far is the camera from your Wi-Fi router?

  • What type of Nest outdoor camera do you have?

  • What is the make and model of your router/modem?

I look forward to your response so we can get this resolved.
