Paying that subscription with new credit card card

I would like to pay my nest account with the new credit card I type in my number and they tell me that's not the correct information old card was compromised I had to get a new one

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry you're experiencing difficulties changing the payment method for your Nest Aware membership. Don't worry; I'm here to help!

 

If you purchased your subscription on the Google Store, follow these steps to update your payment information:

  • Visit the Google Store.
  • Sign in with the Google Account you used to subscribe to Nest Aware.
  • Under the "Payment" section, select "Change payment method."
  • Click the dropdown arrow to expand your payment methods on file. If you have other methods saved, they'll be listed with the type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and the last 4 digits.
  • Choose your desired payment method and tap "Submit."
  • If you want to add a new payment method, enter the required information. Double-check all fields for accuracy before clicking "Submit."
  • After updating your payment method, you should find the updated information under the "Payment" section of the subscription page.

Please note: If you have multiple home structures, ensure you select the correct one associated with the subscription you want to update. Use the "Home nickname" dropdown selector. The "Home nickname" should match the name of your home in the Google Home app. If you don't recognize the home structure name, check the Google Home app to find the corresponding devices.
