Phone notification issue

I am an Arlo user switching to Nest doorbell as arlo’s has long latency

however with nest battery doorbell, phone notifications are extremely poor. My iPhone displays a notification from google home but no vibration to let me know someone has rung the bell. In comparison, Arlo would actually ring my phone. This is so poor!

I have bought a google hub and that notifies me when someone has rung the bell but that can be easily missed unless I have multiple hubs. There is no chime option unlike Arlo.

I am so disappointed with google. I am thinking of returning this unlesss someone can advise of a better way to notify me

I am sorry to say but the nest doorbell is far worse than Arlo - there is no external chime, the iPhone notification is barely noticeable unless I am looking at the phone in my hands all the time. It’s unusable as a doorbell
