Poor battery life and slow charging

My Nest doorbell battery is very slow to charge, taking over 3 days to full charge at 20°C. I have had it installed for 6 months now and the battery life is getting worse with each charge. It is not being triggered much each day <10 events and in warm weather. It currently only lasts one week, which when it takes so long to charge is unacceptable. Can I get this replaced for one that works properly?  Thanks, Andy

Yes please, I would still like assistance. Weirdly, it charged quickly yesterday for the first time, but the battery is draining quickly again. What do you suggest?
