Privacy mask?

Hello, I have now tried my hand at these zones for a long time. but I simply cannot get areas that are not allowed to be recorded removed.

The camera records a huge area, which would normally be good, but for example in Denmark it is illegal to film on public roads and on the neighbour's land.

so I would like to create a zone on my recordings that is not recorded at all but is just completely black. usually called privacy mask in CCTV.

But it doesn't seem possible, can it really be true? I know there are other countries than just Denmark where it is illegal to film outside your own land.

No nothing like that at all on these cameras... Unfortunately they're an overpriced hunk of garbage....

We understand your concern about the privacy mask  feature however, we don't have any news to share about applying this feature to the Nest app or Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback using this link to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern.
