I have a Google Nest wiFi, a router and two satellites, Connected are two Google Nest cameras and two Nest doorbells (battery).
This network was working but I had to change the password. After that I was able to reset and reconnect the two cameras and one doorbell but the remaining doorbell will not connect. I can get all the way through the install process until the very last step and then I always get the same message. "THERE WAS A PROBLEM COMMUNICATING WITH GOOGLE".
I have read all the posts on this and other sites about this message nothing they suggest helps.
I have removed the device from the home app.
I have reset it. ( many times)
I have updated and closed the home app and cleared its cache.
I have tried another phone.
I can remove and reconnect the other doorbell and cameras. No problem.
I have made sure the device and phone are on the same network and no other bluetooth is connected.
All to no avail. The setup always ends with the same message "PROBLEM COMMUNICATING WITH GOOGLE."
My suspicion is that even though I have deleted this device from the home app it is still registered somewhere. If so how can I find and delete it?
