Problems Adding Outdoor camera to Nest App

I am trying to add the new camera to the Nest app, but when I try by QR code, tells me to use the Google Home app to setup (which I have already), and if I try to set it up manually, it hands on entering the last digits of the S/N and the list never populates.  Not sure how to fix this.

If you have the newer Google Nest Camera (Battery), it--like all the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in the fall of 2021--works ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. Google Nest says "the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays."  Due to this "integrated experience" notion, we've had to use 2 apps since getting a Google Nest Camera (Battery) 10 months ago.

Great thank you.  This is helpful.  I just wish there was a bit more UI flexibility/flow and robustness to the Google Home app.
