Problems w Nest Doorbell Camera

There is a huge delay in sending video from my nest wired doorbell cam to my iPhone. Using the Nest app Google Home on my iPhone I just see a blue circle spinning around all the time but the video rarely updates. I have reconnected it to the Wi-Fi. I have tried restarting the cam by holding in the reset button in the back. It also rarely alerts my iPhone when someone presses it which really renters this thing useless. I wish I could get it working.

I'm sorry for the delay. Let's see what's going on. A few questions: how far is the Nest Doorbell from the router? Also, are you connected directly to the router or using an extender?
