Public link - Sharing livestream feed for a Nest Cam (indoor)

Hi,
How do I go about to share a my camera feed publicly via an open URL link? 

I have followed the instructions provided via Google Nest Help but there is no camera settings to be found on my home.nest.com dashboard.

It depends on your Google Nest camera or doorbell. If you have an older Google Nest camera or doorbell that works in the Google Nest app, then on the home.nest.com website under Device Options there is a Camera Sharing option that lets you get a link you can use to share your camera's live video stream.

However, if you have one of the newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in the fall of 2021 the work ONLY in the Google Home app, then you cannot access the camera from the Google Nest app or the home.nest.com website and therefore cannot get share the camera via a public link. It's one of several functions missing from the newer cameras and doorbells.

Any new status on if or when this key feature will be available?

Also, would you be so kind to give us any clues to why this feature has not been included in the hardware/software specs?

Hello okijam,  I'm an  end user like you.  I just tried it and it sort-of worked but not.  I got all the way to getting a link for my camera but when I clicked it I either got a black screen or a freeze-frame of my camera.

Which NEST camera do you have?  And are you able to view it on home.nest.com?

I have an older Nest Outdoor IQ.  I went into home.net.com a clicked so I could see my camera image. I clicked the Gear in the upper right corner and then scrolled down until i saw NIGHT VISION.  The very next option under that is a BLUE BOX with CAMERA SHARING.    When I click it then it asks me a few questions about this camera and gives me the link.  Is this  not how it is working on your system?
