Questions on Nest updates

I have a couple of questions, please.

1)  Does the Nest cam auto-update it's s/w ?

2) If it does then when was the last date and time that it did an update

As long as your Nest camera or doorbell is connected to Wi-Fi and the internet, it should automatically update itself. You don't need to do anything. Nest cameras and doorbells can't be updated manually.

I'm not aware of a place where Google publishes the firmware versions for cameras and doorbells unfortunately.
