You're spot on, the app is absolute garbage. Thankfully we have 3rd gen thermostats so can still use the Nest app but I'm kicking myself for migrating over our cameras to the Google home app because now I can't even view live feeds. The app crashes and/or errors out. What's the point of a camera system if I can't view my cameras
