Recognizing Vehicles as People

Tecknol-OG

Having an issue where the Nest Doorbell (battery) is recognizing vehicles as people. I have since adjusted the zone as a temp fix but I hope this gets resolved. I only have people, animals and packages turned on. The main issue is with the 40 notifications a day draining the battery at a rapid rate.

Hi Brad,

I believe my issue has resolved itself. I believe the recognition has difficulty when objects like decorations are placed in close proximity to the camera. Since I took things down it seems to have improved over time.

Thanks,

Tim

I'm having a similar issue with my Nest Doorbell, though the one that doesn't require batteries. This only recently started to occur so I'm unsure what may have changed. It is quite annoying to receive so many superfluous notifications. I do not have Nest Aware so I cannot set notification zones. If there's a way reset what it views a people I'd very interested in that.
