Recording 24/7 feed (not events) to my phone

I just had the ADT Google nest cams installed yesterday.  I want to have the capability to save video history that may not have been recorded as an event. I subscribed to the nest aware plus to have access to 60 days of events and 10 days of continuous viewing.  For as much money that I just spent, and will be spending on the service, I would like to know this is not an option? I don't want my device alerting me with every car that passes down my street so I have it set to detect people only. I want to have the option if I ever should need it to extract any video the camera records, regardless if it codes it as an event. It seems absolutely ridiculous that this is not a feature. I also don't want to have to use one phone to record the footage being played on another phone. I've spent too much money to have to use a redneck solution. GOOGLE YOU NEED TO DO BETTER.

Unfortunately, Google Nest decided that its newer cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 would work only in the Google Home app, which does not have the ability to manually create and download video clips.  Some customers in this forum have reported using their phone's video capture capability to capture the desired video as it was playing in the Google Home app.

You can also view the cameras at home.google.com, make it full screen and record from there if you wish, this way you can use a computer, virtual machine , whatever you like.
