I had a Dropcam Pro that was on my Nest app that I migrated to my Google Home App. How can I remove it from the Nest App? When I go to settings for the camera in the Nest App, the only option is to transfer it back from the Google Home App, there is no way to remove it from the Nest App.
Thanks

Perhaps Google Nest is doing that so customers don't lose the video history that was recorded in the Google Nest app before moving a camera to the Google Home app.
We're not moving any of our cameras to the "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app; it's too buggy, and we can't move our Nest Hello Doorbells, and there are too many Nest app features that are missing in the Google Home app.

Hello mfujka,
I understand that you're having trouble removing the Nest Camera from your account. Let me help you out. I’d like to confirm: how many Dropcam Pros are you trying to remove from the Nest app? Have you already migrated your account to Google? Can you please share a screenshot of the option from the settings of the camera on the Nest app?
Below are the steps on how to upload a photo or video:
1. Hit reply or Start a new post.
2. Click Insert Image.
3. Choose an image source location.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
5. Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.
Thanks for the help, @MplsCustomer.
I look forward to your response.
Best,
Edmond

Hello folks,
@mfujka, we appreciate your update. How about the settings from the home page of the Nest app? Go to settings> scroll it down and look for your Nest Camera> Select your Nest Camera (If you see your Nest Camera) and remove it. Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer and Edmond.
Regards,
Emerson

Emerson,
that is the second screenshot above. There is no remove option, only to transfer it back from the Google Home App.
thanks

Hey mfujka,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot on your Nest app. Have you tried removing it from the web application https://goo.gle/2qjvVSU? Once you sign in to the web application, just select the camera you are trying to remove, then click on settings( upper right corner), then hit remove camera.
Let me know if that works.
Best,
Edmond

Edmond,
Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't thought of that. When I login to the nest website, and click on one of the transferred cameras, there is no settings icon in the top right. I checked with one camera that I haven't transferred and I can see what you are referring to, but for the cameras I have already transferred to the Google Home App they have removed the settings icon and there is no way to remove the camera from the account via the website.
Thanks,
Mike

I would think that Google Nest would be able to advise you on how things work when you migrate/transfer a camera from the Google Nest app to the Google Home app.
Here is my suspicion or guess:
The camera remains in the Google Nest app only so that you can access any past history.
The camera can only be removed in the Google Home app.
If you migrate/transfer your camera from the Google Home app back to the Google Nest app, then you will once again have the option to remove it from the Google Nest app.
I can't verify any of this because we haven't migrated/transferred any of our 1st gen cameras from the Google Nest app to the Google Home app because we don't want to lose all of our Nest app functionality (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/13038234#zippy=%2Cnest-app-only-features).

Hi mfujka,
We apologise for the confusion. When you remove your migrated Nest Camera from the Nest app it will also be removed to the Google Home app because they are on the same account. Since there's no option to remove it from the Nest app after migrating it, you may transfer it back to the Nest app to fully control it.
Thanks,
Emerson
