Reset battery doorbell from battery mode to wired mode

I installed my nest battery doorbell in battery mode.  I now want to operate it in wired mode (I purchased a transformer).  Is a reset necessary?

Hi can I ask which transformer you bought? Trying to find a 8-24  V AC 10AV

However I can only seem to find a 8AV one

My current one is 4VA and so think I need to change it in my fuse box are you able to help.
