Reset camera every time i change the wireless password

Every time that I change the warmest password in my nest home network I end up having to reset the camera itself in order to take the new one making me delete all of the videos I had. Why why are these cameras, con security cameras, not to mention the fact that they’re magnetic, and only a tiny wire is everything that stops anyone from removing them and stealing them qualifies as reliable

I 100% agree with you.  This terrible WIFI design has existed like this for many years.  And despite literally 100's of complaints on this user forum Google refused to fix/improve how this works.
