Security Screw not long enough

Hi there,

This is for the wired 3rd gen by the way. Just option was not available.

I was able to successfully follow all installation instructions except for the last part to secure the doorbell into the mounting wall plate. It seems that the security screw is not long enough. I was able to test it and I can thread it in without the doorbell. I can also see the holes aligned, it just cannot reach the hole of the wall plate.

Noticed that there was an extra screw in the hex tool pocket, but it was the same size and no luck either.

Can you help here?

I had this happen before as well and usually the easiest solution is picking up a new screw, even though it is a pain when you only need 1 screw. They are fairly standard and should be able to be purchased at any local hardware store.

I glued it in the meantime... lol, but will definitely look for an option at a hardware store. Thank you!
