Just installed nest doorbell 2nd gen wired.
Set screw will not secure the doorbell.
I can thread the set screw in without the doorbell, but as soon as I put the doorbell on the bracket, the set screw just spins as if it is not long enough to reach.
The whole point of getting this is to identify thieves, but now they can steal my doorbell since I can't secure it.
Is this a design flaw (incorrect sized set screw) and what can be done to fix it?

You will probably need to contact Support, and if either the screw or the threads are defective, you may need to get your doorbell replaced (unfortunately). You can reach Support using the link and instructions on the link below:
