I had to switch Google accounts which removed all connected camera devices from the apps. Now Neither the Nest nor Home app will work for reinstall of my 1st Gen Google outdoor wired cameras. I was able to reconnect the other battery cameras and wired doorbells. The install will start in Nest and then refer me to the Home app. When I open the Home app, either after performing some set up in the Nest app or starting there the Home app install will not even proceed past the QR code scan step. See attachments for screen shots progression when using the Nest App for set up.
The cameras were working just fine in the Nest app 2 days ago. It appears as though the install and set up process for these cameras is not supported by either app.

Your last screen shot ("This device has been transferred to the Google Home app.") seems to be indicating that--prior to switching Google accounts--you had transferred your 1st gen Google Nest Camera from the Google Nest app to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app. If that is what happened, then yours is the second post on this issue. It seems that there is a defect that prevents reinstallation of any camera that has been transferred from the Google Nest app to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app. My guess is that Google Nest has simply not yet provided a method for reinstalling a transferred camera.
This is the other post; it seems Google Nest does not have a solution:
You could try contacting Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Thanks. I’ll give that a try.

Google support was not helpful. They tried but it seems they do not understand this particular issue.

That's disappointing to hear. It sounds like the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app isn't getting much support.
They should have at least agreed to report back to their engineering staff that there is a defect that prevents reinstallation of any camera that has been transferred from the Google Nest app to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app.

See the customer-posted solution on this thread; it seems you have to be using the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app to add back a "transferred" camera.
