Have 3 Nest Cams plus Rings around the house/garagge; Working for two years - working good. Tried to get another Wired Nest Cam online. Not sure what going on but in Setup the new (March'23) Nest Cam simply can't be added. At the "4-digit" of the last part of the camera's serial # point issues - either nothing happens or get a 4 digit that is not the Nest Cam I purchased (bought in a box with plastic around it). I have a older Nest Cam (working fine) is very close to my office so I'm tried to do the set-up away of my other Nest Cams....not luck. Before I take it back where I purchased it, any tips?

yes, thanks for the follow-up....I got the new Nest Cam going using the Google Home iPhone App...and I added another new Nest Cam to my house exterior - both, along with the older Nest Cams - all of them Google Home app. One note - the new Nest Cams seem to have much better video/pics and the audio is better as well. All is well.

If you have the "Nest Cam (indoor, wired)", are you trying to install it in the Google Nest app? The newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in March 2021 only work in the Google Home app. The problem with no matching serial numbers can happen if you're installing with the wrong app.
