Support needs to read the forums

I spent literally hours online trouble shooting my doorbell not showing live video stream. Repeating everything I had done already myself, happy in order to convince them it was the product...

 

They sent me another doorbell, which arrived today and I setup and installed. Same problem.

Where it proposes a solution. (Turn off Mesh's own settings.) It worked instantly.

SO to be clear, this is a google mesh wifi stopping the functionality of another google product that is sold as part of a home solution!?
Worst of all the tech support aren't aware of it although it is referenced above AND an insider suggests they will "pass it on to the team".

Guess that's a fail.

Moreover I am forced to take my complain here to another posting because my own has also been closed.. I pity anyone with a similar issue!

For completion here's my previous post, hopefully it helps someone. Now this new doorbell better make it back before I get charged $300+ for their own stupidity!!

I just wanted to jump in real fast and thank you for your feedback. Please feel free to submit your feedback to us. I've put instructions for feedback below.

  1. Open the Google Home app

  2. At the top right, tap your account.
  3. Tap Feedback 

and then

  1. tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  2. To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  3. In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.
  4. Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  5. To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send
