Switching Nest Doorbell From Battery to Wired

Hello.

I have a battery operated Nest Doorbell and am going to switch it to wired.  Do I need to remove the original Nest Doorbell from my Home app and reinstall it as a new Doorbell that will be wired?  Or, can I simply leave as is in the app and wire it?

No need to remove it from the app. It should detect the change automatically.
