So my cameras have decided that they will not always record an event, or, they'll notify me when it's too late, i.e. the car pulling out of the driveway. For that one, I'll get the notification when I'm already 100 meters down the road. My driveway is almost 30 meters long, so I should get a notification before it's off the driveway, since I'm still connected to the Wi-Fi. BTW, on my phone, I can still connect to my router when I'm ~100 meters down the road (2.4 Ghz, not 5 Ghz), so it's not a weak signal issue. The front floodlight camera has decided to no longer record anything.
The cameras are only 4 months old.
The home app is in serious need of an overhaul, not a patch.
I have tried all mentioned solutions in other posts, including resets of all devices, including my router. Switching from 2.4Ghz to 5Ghz made no difference. I'm not using a repeater/extender as one is not necessary. The router has the latest firmware and is on a power backup system (APS), so no brown-out issues.
This system is simply flawed. I don't know why Google has its head in the sand about this. There have been, and are, thousands of complaints. I feel sorry for the community members responsible for shielding Googles 'so called' developers.

18 months thereabouts of one issue after another. In fact I'd say the whole battery camera system and associated google home app has never performed as they should. Google spend a lot on advertising their products when it comes to functionality though forget about it. Google simply do not "walk the talk" as such. Constant endless issues im beside myself with the amount of ongoing problems... My battery cameras even use data when they're off they're the only devices connected to the wifi and use up to 500mb in 24 hours ""whilst switched off"" go figure on that one. As per google have blamed me and my isp and everyone else except themselves. Ive been bombarded with pathetic unanswerable questions. My isp has NEVER been asked the questions google support are asking me to ask them. The isp is dumbfounded google are even asking these questions and have said to me multiple times Google are doing it on purpose to deflect their own ineptness on others... I totally sympathize with you... I just want my money back for the cameras i purchased they're utter garbage and so far 1.5 years of ongoing mental anguish...

Really fill out ANOTHER form haha. I have cases open and nothing happens just more rhetorical questions and suggestions that lead to nowhere. Google have multiple flaws that they simply cannot identify let alone fix or even attempt to fix as they cannot even identify the faults to begin with. 18 months of being given the runaround. The battery cameras and associated home app are simply not fit for purpose its plain and simple they're inferior products.
