Taking over previous owners Google cameras

Hello, I just recently moved into a home and the previous owners left their Google cameras for us. One is on battery and one is plugged in. They did not leave me with any other information besides, they are Google home devices. I would like to factory reset them both so that I may access them And connect them to our Wi-Fi please send all the details to help me do this.

The previous owner should have removed the cameras from the Google Nest app and the Google Home app, as appropriate (Moving Guide for Nest Devices: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11151047).

If you have an older 1st gen Google Nest camera, the only way to perform a factory reset is for the previous owner to remove the camera from the Google Nest app while still on the old Wi-Fi network. For those 1st gen cameras, if the previous owner did not do so my may have to wait up to 60 days for the previous owner's video history to expire:

Here are the factory reset instructions; they are after the Restart instructions:

After a successful factory reset, you will need to reinstall the cameras in the Google Nest app (for 1st gen cameras) or the Google Home app (for 2nd gen cameras and for 1st gen cameras that have been "transferred" to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app).
