Thinking about buying

I was thinking about buying the indoor wired Nest Cam, however, I found out that the camera doesn't record video. I think it might record "clips", but that is not helpful. Is it true the cam doesn't record video?

The Nest Cam Wired does record 24/7, however you need to have a Nest Aware subscription, otherwise you will only have 3 hours of history.

I am very happy to hear that you're interested in the new Nest Cam (wired)! I would love to go over your inquiry and answer your questions. I can understand there may be some confusion in the wording.

• All of our Cameras will have a life feed for you to view at any time as long as the device is powered on, and connected.
• Nest Aware subscriptions would be what changes some options when it comes to not only this Cam
