Too many Ring doorbell camera visitor alerts

We just installed our battery Nest doorbell. Camera works really well, very sharp, but it sends me notifications when it sees people walking the sidewalk on the other side of the street!  Is there any way I can keep the camera/doorbell  in its place by the door and turn down the sensitivity of the alarm?

Create one or more Activity Zones (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9207697) that include only those areas where you wish to receive notifications, turn on notifications in those Activity Zones, and do not enable notifications for the area(s) where you do NOT wish to receive notifications.
