Doorbell gen2 wired no ligts

Doorbell cam was working fine. Removed to paint. Reconnected. Camera showed lights. Then no lights. Have done a factory reset. No change 

confirmed active power to unit.   Have removed unit from G AP. tried to set up again as new. No sucess

I'm so sorry to hear that your Nest Doorbell is not showing any LED lights on and is not connecting to your app. Don't worry, I'm here to help! Just to get started, I have a couple of questions for you that will help me understand this situation better. Can you help me answer them?

 

  • Is the LED light off when the doorbell is mounted to the wall, or does it also happen when it is unmounted? When you unmount the device from the wall and connect the wires to the doorbell, can you see the LED light on?
  • Can you see any sign of debris, corrosion, or damage in the wall adaptor’s pins, the Pogo connector’s pins, or the socket?
  • Have you verified that the wires are securely connected to the doorbell?

 

Knowing this information will allow me to provide further steps that might solve this situation.
