hi….. keen, DIYer here. so I’ve managed to get my latest model nest wired, google doorbell connected and working and running OK with our Byron 776 doorbell time… this is a mains 240v doorbell chime with a built-in transformer to 8v.. I’ve read on numerous other forums and YouTube, etc., that you can get it to work fully… my issue is that I’m not able to get the chime to work at all inside the house.. when you toggle indoor chime to on, the nest camera/doorbell power flickers slightly, and then turns itself off as if to indicate that the supplied power can’t drive both the chime on the doorbell and the camera itself. so if I leave the indoor chime toggled off the video camera doorbell works fine. I’m just wondering if anyone here has managed to get it to work on a Byron 776..what did do they do etc…. I installed the the puck device and have connected via the puck ..the doorbell wires to terminal two and three on the Byron transformer. Other combinations of connection on the four terminals didn’t work. Any thoughts experience out there? Thanks Nick

Just reflecting further.. I am going to try changing the chime type setting to mechanical... which I noticed was set to electronic in error. Also is it worth trying to remove the chime connector and see if it works without that white puck thingy?
