Hi, I have a Google Nest A0038 power adapter that has the all-weather connection for a USB cable to connect to a Nest Outdoor battery camera. I don’t have an all-weather USB cable to connect the adapter to the camera. Where can I get one?
I think what you have, judging from the model number, is the power adapter for the 1st Gen Google Nest Outdoor Camera, not the optional power cable (which includes a power adapter) for the 2nd gen battery camera:
@MplsCustomer , yeah, I guess it's a 1st Gen charger, not the one you showed. I was wondering if I could re-use that with a proper "all-weather" USB cable to connect to my 2nd gen battery camera. I was just hoping that Google would sell just the USB cable. I don't want to use a standard USB cable charger as it won't be weatherproof.
The link I shared above shows a 5-meter and a 10-meter weatherproof power cable with a power adapter that is part of the cable. That's all Google Nest sells. They do NOT sell just a cable that somehow connects to a 1st gen adapter. I'm not even sure they're compatible.
