Unable to finish Nest Doorbell Setup

This is a miserable process. After two hours, found out I needed to set up a new home. Now, I’m unable to finish set up because the doorbell needs an update. The update remained on 0% and then timed out several times. Who can help? Is there a bug fix or work around? If so, what is it?

We took them both back after about 3 hours of trying to install. Ok to close ticket.
