After having the Nest Cam with floodlight (wired) installed by a professional, I was able to set up the device using Google Home as with other devices. I noticed that there was a duplicate in my list of devices so I deleted it. This unfortunately deleted both devices and now I don't have the QR code to re-add the device.
Please help! I have an expensive flood light now that I can't access that stays on all day long.

Yes.
Simple fix actually. You can bypass the QR code pathway and instead enter a 6 digit code. Had to partly disassemble flood light but got it and then easily set up.
Working correctly and accessible through Google Home now.

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I'm terribly sorry to hear that you're having these troubles. I understand how upsetting this could be, but I'm happy to assist you with this obstacle. Unfortunately, without the QR code of your Serial number, you can't add the device back in. Do you still have the original packaging?
Best Regards,
Brad

I do not.
No way to add the device back if it ever loses contact with the network? With that kind of penalty, it should be boldly stated somewhere to take a pic of the QR code, save the packaging, etc. Did I miss that?

No chance my phone or network remembers the QR code from the original setup?

You can try to contact Support to see what they can do to help, but without the QR code, you won't be able to add the devices back. Are you making sure that you are logging into the correct Google account?
Best regards,
Brad

Yes. I see all of my other devices on the Google Home app, and it was originally there but got deleted.
Wow. I am shocked I did this and now have a $250 flood light with a camera I can't see.
