We got a nest cam to use as a baby monitor so we can stream it to the displays in the kitchen and living room.
Since installing it, our data usage has jumped from 600 GB /month to over 1.2 TB!
The camera is set to "high" resolution (not "max"). Is it normal to use this much data?
We also have the history turned off.
Everything I've read says it should be about 30GB and I thought the displays streamed from the camera over Bluetooth.

Sounds about right. If you’re continually streaming, the usage will be up there. Also, the stream is over WiFi, not Bluetooth.
As a baby monitor, the one downside with the Nest cams is you don’t get background audio when you close the app. So you have to continually stream video to know what’s going on.
