Unable to scan QR code or take a picture of entry key.

Our doorbell was already installed by a professional.  I accidentally reset the doorbell and have to set it up again.  Because the doorbell is already wired, we are unable to scan the QR code and/or take a picture of the entry key.  We have tried every way possible.  How can I use the serial number as an entry key to set up the device?  The entry key is only six digits.  The serial number is 16 digits.   Instructions on site say I can use the serial number as well.  I tried the first six and the last six and nothing.  Can anyone help?

Unfortunately, you either need to scan the QR Code or you need to enter the 6-character alphanumeric (letters and numbers) Entry Key. The Serial Number usually shows up during the install, when the install process lists the last 4 digits of several serial numbers and asks you to verify which is yours.

Usually, on the camera or doorbell, the Serial Number is printed above the QR Code and the Setup Code is printed below the QR Code. On the new Nest Hello doorbell we installed a month ago, all of this was also printed on the envelope in the package that contained warranty information.  Was it included in the packaging for your Google Nest Doorbell (Battery)?
