Unusual object caught on Camera

I was checking my camera and at 01:30 am on Tuesday 24th September a strange object set of Motion activation. The video lasts 3 seconds but the object is in view for less than a second. It’s translucent with lights around with larger one in direction of travel. I traced it apparently coming out my wall and flying off!  I can only guess the size in relation to the fence and path in shot and think 12” or 30cm.

It took time to get a screen shot but eventually managed. I am not a believer in UFO but this has me baffled as I believe there is always an explanation. I need help to explain. I have sent the screen shot and details of event to Google Nest for their thoughts and their ability to interrogate the footage further.

Unfortunately, I am not able to upload the screen shot here but wondered if it’s a malfunction within the camera itself and if anyone else had similar. It the latest Nest Gen2 outside camera that is wired into mains.

If a bug flies close to your camera, it can look pretty strange and translucent.

See this post on how to upload a screen shot:

I get these images once in a while, and always at night.  My impression is they're insects (moth?) with translucent wings.  They're definitely attracted to the camera's infrared/light.  They definitely appear to hoover and then fly away and always very "upclose".  It may not be a moth, but I'm convinced it's definitely an insect.

I have seen spiders before and they are pretty obvious and have to clear their webs as when it rains it show them even more.

I have had similar images.  Translucent.  Does not appear to be an insect, but I don’t know what it could be.  Have seen them both outside my house and in my attic.

Unfortunately I don’t have a camera icon to allow me to post my pictures.  👎
