I recently installed a Nest Doorbell Battery. It was my understanding that I would get 3 hours worth of recording in my video history without a paid Nest Aware Subscription. But I am only able to view history for the current day through the Google Home App on my Iphone. There does not seem to be a setting correlated with this, so I am wondering what the problem is. Can anyone explain or help? Thanks!

By the way, I know that some of the older doorbells did not hold older history, but this one was purchased in 2022 and it was my understanding that it was supposed to hold 3 hours of video without a paid subscription.

Here is where I read that you get 3 hours of video history without a subscription: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538?hl=en#:~:text=If%20you%20have%20a%20newer,or%20....

I think I just figured it out. This thread says that Google's advertising is misleading and the free subscription only includes video from the last 3 hours (not 3 hours of recorded video): https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Free-subscription-limits-3-hours-what-d.... So if the burglar comes at 2 am and you wake up at 8 am, there will be no video! What a joke!

You are correct sadly. It's totally misleading, I too expected it to hold a 3hr amount of footage, not a 3hr window of events. Another burn to the Google customer.
