I am amazed that I cannot view my nest cameras on my phone using a voice command! How is this not possible. I have to open Google Home and them press camera. Why cant I just say "show me cameras in google home" or something similar. Assistant wants to use another device to display the camera. If I wanted that I would just ask the Google hub to do it in the first place.
Also amazed that Google Home doesn't support shortcuts by long pressing on the icon.
So many simple features missing that can make the Nest products and Google Home so much better!!
I don't expect any help on here, just ranting!! It seems like almost none of the posts here get any useful answers. Most go unanswered and I'm sure Google doesn't even monitor these forums.
End rant.

Hi jferguson110,
This is a community forum supported by other users (UK user here) and community specialist's.
Google have announced that they will be making lots of improvements to how cameras function within the Google home app and also adding a website portal sometime this year.
I do understand how you feel because I myself am frustrated that you can not request the new cameras are displayed on a Chromecast as you can with the older generation???
It's always best to register your feedback manually as shown within the link below as this is sent directly to the people who can actually make changes to the system.

Hi again,
For Android devices there is the Google made app called Action Blocks that might help with your shortcut issue?
