Viewing 24/7 10-day history in web browser

We have a system of 3 nest cameras A0005.  We have the Nest Aware Plus plan.  I log into the Nest website via browser on a desktop to view the camera feeds, but I cannot seem to find where the 24/7 recordings are for the 3 cameras.  How do I view this content, since all the help articles just talk about using the Nest or Google Home apps?

@UHLL

The Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 that are installed in the Google Home app can only be accessed via a browser on the home.google.com website, which has been in preview/beta status since October. 2022 and still shows ONLY live views.

Older Google Nest cameras and doorbells that are installed in the Google Nest app can be accessed via a browser on that website, as well as on the home.nest.com website, which DOES provide access to video history. To access video history, just select the camera's live stream; at the bottom are controls for accessing history.

We have older cameras and the account was created prior to Sept. 2021, but when I click on a camera to view it live, the only options at the bottom of the screen are to 1)  full screen the camera image, 2) view recorded clips (but not the 24/7 recording, and 3) adjust the volume pickup.  When I go into the clips page, it shows older recorded clips, but also still says that I am using x amount of time of a 3 hour limit, even though the account has been upgraded to Aware Plus.

@UHLL

If you view "Clips" on the home.nest.com website, you get "Using xx m (of 3h limit)" even when you have a Nest Aware Plus subscription, because the most you can have in saved "clips" on the Google Nest cloud is 3 hours.

Below is what we get at the bottom of our 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells for controls on the home.nest.com website with a Nest Aware Plus subscription, with the timeline at the bottom.

Is your Nest Aware Plus subscription in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your cameras? If you go to Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Nest app, does it say "Active: Nest Aware Plus"?

Hi everyone,

@UHLL, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. How's it going? Were you able to double check if your subscription is applied to the same home structure where your Nest Camera is added? You should have the same functions like the shared photo above.

Let us know your update here.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Thanks for chiming in, Super_paulie.

Regards,

Emerson

Thanks for chiming in?  Are you serious? I was "chiming in" to show my anger at Google's major failings in security of our homes.

This is absolutely terrible!  We need to be able to review video history from a browser just like it always was under Nest.  I bought a new outdoor cam based on over 5 years of amazing experience with my old one only to find I can't do this!  If I have to sift through video history on my phone it will be a major PITA!  It just isn't the same experience at all.  How do we light a fire under Google on this one?

Agreed! A multi billion dollar company and they can't give the subscribers what they want and need!

its baffling that google think you dont need to access the camera footage. How can the website version be so terrible for so long, ive never known anything like it, never mind from such a company as massive as Google. Even knock-off cameras from Amazon and the like have better built sites.
