Google Nest has the worst customer service I have EVER received. I bought what turned out to be a defective camera, so I contacted support. I’ve contacted via chat, phone & email. It took weeks for the reps to get it right that I didn’t have a doorbell, but a camera, even though I never even used the word doorbell. I’ve been promised by two different “supervisors” that they would send me a replacement camera and be back in touch in 24 hours. Both have ghosted me and I have not received a response or replacement. It has been a MONTH now and I’ve wasted hours of my time trying to get this resolved. I have literally never dealt with worst customer service and expected way more from Google. What a disappointment. I strongly do NOT recommend buying any products from them.

Same experience with my dysfunctional thermostat. Paid $170 for a replacement following rep's instruction in Nov 2021. It's been 2.5 months, never received my product. Spent hours and hours on the phone and through chat, I was always told that someone will contact me in 24 hours but nobody ever contacted me. Still no solution and stuck with a broken thermostat in cold winter months. Worse company ever!

Moreover, I requested a refund for my replacement since I never receive it. And I'm super disappointed in Nest so I plan to switch company, but I was told by all reps I talked to that "refund isn't an option!" How ridiculous is that?!
