What Happened to People in Google Home video?

How come Google keeps deprecating the functionality of the "free" Home app? Latest one is removing People from the Event category.  Now instead all that's left is Motion and Noise.  So if a sneaky trespasser walks into my home I don't get to see it?  WTF Google?

The "People" option is present in iOS in the Google Home app.  Maybe this is a new bug in the Android version.

I would recommend force closing your app or making sure it's updated.
