Why do I pay for subscription to get 24/7 recording when I can only save "Event" clips. The new cameras on Home app are missing some basic functions. Please break off Nest to it's own company again so that they can focus on creating a good product.

Hey there,
I just wanted to jump in real fast and thank you for your feedback. I can understand that not being able to save any clip you want could be quite inconvenient. I have two cameras, both Indoor cams and I wish I could do the same sometime. I am sure the Engineers have a valid reason as to why this is not an option. In the meantime however, please feel free to submit your feedback to us. I've put instructions for feedback below.
