I have 3 nest products, 2 doorbells and a camera, and the nest products all show me my past footage as per my subscription. I bought a newer google home camera, but there's no way to view events or past footage when I navigate to home.google on my computer, just a live view. How will I be able to show the police who broke into my house and murdered my family with just a live view and zero access to events and footage? I feel like I wasted 200 dollars on this camera that will do nothing to protect my family or avenge their gruesome deaths.

I feel your pain. As I have this ridiculous issue where when a visitor presses the doorbell the footage freezes or goes off so you can't see who's there! Crazy! I feel like cancelling the subscription as it's useless.

Unfortunately, Google Nest has not added access to history on its beta "Public Preview" version of its home.google.com website since it went live in October 2022 (unlike the home.nest.com website). We can only access history for our 2nd gen cameras and doorbells in the Google Home app:

Google has indicted that being able to look at event history from home.google.com is something that is coming ini the future but they have not indicated the time frame. I am very frustrated by this as well. And now I hear Google is doing another round of layoffs. I hope the tech people working on this are not among them.
