Where do I find "saved" downloaded video clips

I have several nest/google cameras and they seem to be working correctly.  I am trying to revisit several clips of downloaded video and I cannot find them.

I have the cameras open on my PC

I select a video, go to the bottom right corner, select download

I see a popup window on the bottom left that says downloaded

but then I cannot find where the downloaded video is to either view again, or, more importantly, to save a copy of the clip...

Where to the downloaded clips go and how to I access them?

I have the French version of Windows, and I find the downloaded files in my 'Téléchargement' file; I guess that in English, the 'Téléchargement' file must be a Downloaded file.

I would have thought so too, but there is nothing in my "download" folder..  That is why I am trying to figure it out...  I too would think the videos would be in that file....  Wondering if there is a "cloud" download file?  If so, I have no idea how to get to it

It should be going to whatever the default download folder is for your browser.  What browser are you using?

Chrome, and I look in my "downloads" folder and nothing is there....

Just to be sure though, have you checked your Chrome settings to make sure that's the right location?  By default it is, but maybe it got changed? Or maybe you can check the "ask where to save each file" box, then choose where to download it?

Also you can search your C: drive using file explorer if you know the file name.

Yea, everything says it points to "downloads" but nothing shows up....Hmmmmm

If you're having trouble finding downloaded video clips, they might be saved in your device's default download folder. For example, on Windows, you can usually find them in the 'Downloads' folder or check your browser's download history for the exact location.

If you're downloading videos from platforms like YouTube or other social media, you can use tools like snaptube to easily download and manage your videos. It organizes downloaded videos in a specific folder, making it easier to locate them later.

Hope this helps!
