Why does the nest app suck so bad?

It’s taking my nest app over a minute or longer to open all of the time now. I can be on WiFi or cellular it does not matter. It’s painfully slow and not reliable. Can anyone else recommend a better camera system?

That seems odd.  On WiFi and home or elsewhere, it takes just a few seconds for the Google Nest app to open on our iPhones--with several cameras and doorbells.  The Google Home app isn't as good; the app opens immediately, but when we select "Cameras", it can sometimes take quite awhile before all of the camera feeds appear.  Away from home on cellular data, both apps can be much slower at times.

Same problem here. The last several weeks the cameras will freeze up on the app and just keep spinning. The app was always a piece of garbage but the last few weeks it doesn’t even work 90% of the time. Would be nice if they would get their act together but I’m ready to switch to ring.

Agreed!!!   The Nest App SUCKS so horribly.   A multi billion dollar company and they don’t have a properly functioning App.  It’s insane.  I have to quit the app every single time it freezes.  And it freezes ALL THE TIME.   It’s pathetic
