When ever my cameras loose connection to the router the do send an alert message thru the app. However this often takes a good 10-15 minutes to show up which is very frustrating. I would like it to be almost instant.
Maybe you can test this out. Go and unplug one of your cameras (assuming it isn't a battery cam) and see how long it takes to get the alert.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with the Google Home app not sending the notifications automatically. I understand that you already tried to reboot the router, and it's still not working as you expected. But don't worry, we hear you. We appreciate your feedback. We're constantly working on improvements, and your input helps us shape future features.
Regards,
Jenny

Hi DudeNLittleton,
Thanks for posting. I understand that the router was rebooting and losing communication with the app. Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way to get a text notification when your router and a camera lose communication. But if you choose to get notifications sent to your email address, the email should include a snapshot image of the activity your camera spotted. You can download these snapshots to your phone or your computer's hard drive.
Here you can check detailed information about "Types of camera alerts".
Please let me know if you have more questions. I'll be happy to help.
Best regards,
Jenny
