I purchased what I thought was a wired floodlight camera from Lowes (Item #4097868 Model #GA02411-US on the invoice) and replaced an existing floodlight only with this floodlight camera. When I look on the app though its not saving history and its prompting me that only wired cameras can save hisotry over 24 hours.... and then i look at the battery life and its showing 66%. The light switch which controls the light turns it off an on (ie if the the light switch is in the off position the floodlight will not illuminate) so its being controlled by the switch which should mean the wired connection is good, right? Im so confused right now.

I think when you install the floodlight camera there's an option to indicate whether it's a floodlight camera or a battery camera (since the camera portion of the fixture is the same as the separate battery camera). Do you recall which you selected?
Is the light switch for your floodlight fixture ALWAYS turned on? (It should be.)
If your floodlight fixture is wired correctly, with power to the floodlight fixture and any switch turned on, when you check the battery setting, it should say "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol, and it will NOT show you the battery level.

Yes I did... it mustve been a situation where someone had flipped off the switch after I left and back on before I got home because it is showing the infinity symbol now. Apologies for the false alarm!
