My wired doorbell was working for one day after installation, but has quit ringing inside. It still rings outside. illuminated ring around doorbell is well lit as is a small red light is on at top of doorbell. So doorbell is getting power. I checked the inside ringer and no wires are touching that would prevent it from ringing. Please tell me what is wrong.

After we installed our second Nest Hello, the internal chime quit ringing for the second doorbell shortly after it was installed. We just lived with it. Awhile ago, I saw a post in this forum suggesting turning "Chime duration" (intended for electronic chimes) on and then off again, and that fixed the problem for us. (Like those who posted the suggestion, we do NOT have an electronic chime.)
